Eukanuba Announces Changes for 2009 Eukanuba World Challenge

Although 2008 Eukanuba World Challenge received many great comments from participating breeders, kennel club's and enthusiast of the sport of purebred dogs, Eukanuba set a new goal of making 2009 competition even more attractive, making 2009 Eukanuba World Challenge unforgettable to everyone.

After discussion with World Challenge partners, the AKC and the FCI, Eukanuba is announcing number of exciting additions to the current set up that will take effect in the 2009 competition. In order to extend opportunity of participation to all countries which are members of the FCI and to ensure highest level of competition, Eukanuba has invited winners of some of the world's most prestigious shows to take part in the World Challenge. The BIS winners of the following shows were selected:

1. FCI World Dog Show, Bratislava, Slovakia
2. FCI European Dog Show, Dublin, Ireland
3. FCI American Section Show, Quito, Ecuador
4. FCI Asia Section Show, Taipei, Taiwan

Another exciting change is a creation of four evenly divided groups.

However, one of the best additions to this year's show will be organization of World Challenge Semi Finals that will take place during the 2009 World Dog Show taking place in Bratislava in October 2009. 20 European countries will compete for 3 places in the World Challenge finals in Long Beach in December 2009. This improvement was welcomed by many breeders giving chance to breeders from every participating country to compete for the place in the 2009 Eukanuba World Challege.
